Ben Barnes is the Founder of The Neuro Advisors, bringing 25 years of leadership experience from some of the largest and fastest-growing startup medical device companies. He began his career at US Surgical Corporation and later held key commercial leadership roles at Codman (a division of J&J), Boston Scientific Neurovascular, Stryker Neurovascular, Longeviti Neurosurgery, Kaneka Neurovascular, and NXTSTIM.
In his most recent roles, Mr. Barnes served as General Manager of Kaneka Neurovascular North America, where he led all U.S. operations and provided the Japanese executive leadership team with a strategic vision for the U.S. launch of the iED coil. As Chief Commercial Officer at NXTSTIM, he developed a comprehensive Strategic Plan and Commercial Strategy Map, optimizing limited resources to accelerate ROI and driving 180% year-over-year growth. He spearheaded fundraising efforts, successfully securing targeted funding through Angel Investment networks and VC firms. This capital fueled commercial marketing initiatives, positioning the company for a $12M Series A funding round in 2025.
